I too am an avid reader. I can't imagine a day without pleasure reading. Both my parents taught literature, but neither are reading snobs. Books have always been my favorite presents. What I have found strange lately is that I am enjoying reading nonfiction more than novels (other than mysteries), which is a change for me.

The HP stories are very enjoyable; Rowling has such a wonderful imagination.

I reread the whole Harry Potter series last summer. I had read them as they came out, but I decided I needed to read them again in order back to back. It was amazing how many more details I picked when I reread the books. Enjoy!

It is such a joy to follow you on GoodReads and through these other sites. Reading is such an absolute pleasure of mine too - my earliest passion that continues today. The way you talk about reading is the exact same way that I feel about it. I am so happy to hear that you are enjoying the HP books. They are amazing.

I really enjoyed reading this wonderful entry! Nice that you discovered reading at an early age and that you've kept it part of you.

All this time that I've spent knitting and quilting have taken me away from reading but I've rediscovered how much I love reading these last few months. I hope you are loving the HP series. Those are my absolute favorite and I read them over and over again.
